Snowdonia Mountain is absolutely beautiful, a heaven of natural greenery, landscape, beauty and wonder. We went to the mountains opposite lake Ogwen where there is a mountain path that leads to lake Idwal. The hike is breathtaking. There is even a fountain on the way. You see mountain goats and sheep everywhere. On the top there is a lake where you can relax and take some cool photos. It takes about an hour to hike up. Don’t rush as it’s a scenic walk. Children will just love running around this landscape. It’s free to enter but the park/paths are maintained by National Trust. Before coming here I always thought National Trust was too expensive compared to English Heritage who provide access to similar properties. But after visiting Snowdonia Mountain, I can proudly say that NT membership is worth paying for.
