On Blackheath is a family friendly music and food festival. I will admit I have not been to many family friendly festivals so my experience is probably very limited but I was really very happy with this one. It is really difficult to find festivals where both adults and children can have a good time. I found that this festival provided a very good balance of activities for both adults and children. There were three different stages with different types of live music going on. The headliners weren’t extraordinary but were good enough for a general festival. There were plenty of food stalls and also a cooking demonstration going on at one side. The children’s activities included balloon man, hoola hoop classes, magic show, games and a free Vita Coco stall for kids. We had a great time there and we will definitely go back near year.
