Waddesdon Manor: A majestic country house

Waddesdon Manor under National Trust is an absolute gem of a house. The house is located in Aylesbury and you can take a taxi (approx £10) to the house directly from Aylesbury station. The house is surrounded by vast green landscape. There is also a garden and fountain at the back of the house. This is a great place for a weekend visit with your family. You can buy either the house or just garden tickets or you can combine both. The house operates on a time ticket basis and you are allowed entry on the stipulated time. There is also a horse stable which is basically a food court now. The area around the house is huge and you can walk for hours. The good thing is that there is a bus every 10 minutes that takes you to different part of the house.

Entrance Tickets: Adult: £18.00, Child: £9.00, Family: £45.00 (free with National Trust membership)
