This is a beautiful Norman style castle that is great for a day out with the family. I recommend that you take the tour as shown in the free guide so you don’t miss any important room. In addition to the castle there is a railway museum, garden and children’s play area. Make sure to visit the scenic spots as shown in the printed map for some great views. Entry to the castle is free for National Trust members.
