Dover castle located in Dover is proper grand castle. It sits atop the famous while cliffs of Dover is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) and most prominent castle in the UK. There is a well decorated and restored great tower that will give you glimpse of medieval lifestyle. There is also a secret wartime tunnel which was used during WWII and is a must visit. The atmosphere and presentation in the tunnel is superb, surely to please any children and adult as well. Unfortunately you are not allowed to take photos inside the tunnel. There is a war time hospital and a tower that dates back to 1AD!! There are cannons and gun placements throughout the castle which are sure to enchant the little ones
